Cooperativa San Lorenzo was founded in 1992 by 18 young farmers from Pegognaga, in the province of Mantova, who decided to join forces to collaborate and share their experiences in managing their agricultural businesses

We network livestock manure, transforming it from waste into a valuable resource. We utilize this material in the fields as eco-friendly fertilizer and for the production of biogas, a renewable energy source that enables sustainable electricity generation.

Livestock Manure
The cattle manure from our dairy cow barns, rich in nutrients, is an excellent "raw" fertilizer for fields, orchards, and gardens. After 6-12 months of maturation and plowing, it is also perfect for organic farming.
Separated Solid
This product is significantly advantageous: it is fine, uniform, dry, and does not produce leachate. Compared to traditional manure, it is more suitable for road transport, easily manageable, field-distributable, and matures quickly in a pile. It is ideal for fertilization, requiring higher doses than humus, with a maturation period of 3-4 months, and should always be incorporated into the soil through plowing. It is also suitable for organic farming.
Digestate
Produced through anaerobic digestion in our affiliated biogas facilities, this material, similar to separated solids but more mature, is easily manageable and excellent for field distribution. It should be incorporated into the soil through plowing and is also suitable for organic farming.
Worm Humus
Produced from 100% natural and organic bovine manure, enriched with enzymes, microorganisms, and soil minerals. This dark, lightweight, and odorless soil enhances plant growth. Suitable for organic farming, available in various sizes and formulations.
Liquid Worm Humus
Liquid Humus Terra Viva is a fluid product rich in high-quality organic compounds and a vast quantity of beneficial soil microorganisms. It promotes root growth and plant recovery, even in case of pathogenic attacks. It is registered in the list of fertilizers allowed in organic farming.
